Venette™ Pleated Screens are the next generation of insect screens with a pleated rather than flat insect mesh – available for the first time in New Zealand with several new features.
Magnetic Insect Window Screens are an economical and flexible choice for keeping your home insect free, whilst letting the fresh air in. They are easy to install and remove, by simply lifting the corner handles, magnetic seals hold the screens firmly in place on the aluminium window.
Convenient and easily installed to either timber or aluminium joinery. Matching vision rails are standard on all insect screen doors and help to prevent people accidentally running into the door – particularly children.

Venette Pleated Insect Screens
The construction of the Venette Pleated Insect Screens use only the best Japanese manufactured polyester pleated mesh material – which retains its shape while a series of high quality Kevlar™ cords tension the screen preventing blow out in windy conditions.
NO GUIDE CHANNEL
Venette™ Pleated Screens install flat to the floor on a 3 mm high PVC strip so there is no guide channel to trip or step over. This makes the Venette Pleated Screen ideal for situations where wheelchair access is required.
VERSATILE WITH A VARIETY OF CONFIGURATIONS
Unlike retractable fly screens, Venette™ Pleated Screens are not spring loaded so they park in any position along the track and the screen moves back and forth with just the gentlest of touches. Doors may be stacked in a variety of configurations to easily screen openings up to 9 meters wide and 3 meters high.

Magnetic Insect Screens
Magnetic Insect Screens use mesh made from Phiferglass, a charcoal coloured, durable fibreglass sourced from the world’s leading insect screening manufacturer. Phiferglass insect mesh is soft to the touch but woven from permanent glass yarn and coated with a strong protective vinyl to ensure lasting colour and flexibility.
The magnetic tape for Magnetic Insect Screens is manufactured from high quality flexible multiple pole magnetic compounds, which adhere to the window joinery using a highly durable 3M VHB tape. Removing magnetic insect screens, to access the window, is easily done via corner handles in a choice of user friendly, moulded plastic handles or stainless steel versions.
With two options, you can choose which of the magnetic screens best suit your needs, with reassurance that both offer the same high quality mesh and tape.

Style 1 – A two layer 8 mm magnetic screen, with stainless steel corners, this is the original economical screen that has been sold for decades in NZ.
Style 2 – A three layer 12 mm magnetic screen, with a moulded plastic corner/handle for increased strength and ease of use. This screen has been designed with an additional decorative finishing strip, which can be powder – coated to match existing window joinery. Another enhancement is the addition of a retaining clip on the top of the screen, helping secure it when opening and closing the window.
Hinged and Sliding Insect Screen
Awnings Plus Hinged and Sliding Insect Screen add distinction to any window and doors and installation on existing constructions is quick, in a home or commercial environment. They are an economical and lightweight screening solution. Manufactured with strong aluminium corners and non-visible nylon rollers, sliding insect screens are sturdy and run smoothly when opening or closing.
Powder coated aluminium frames are colour matched to your existing joinery, blending your insect screen into your homes finish.
Sliding Insect Screen Windows are effortless to open and close and can be simply removed if not required. Ideal for fitting to aluminium or timber joinery.
Hinged Insect Screen Windows can be removed easily with an optional two piece hinging system, making cleaning and winter storage straight forward.
